Justins Patriotic Project 1 - Justin’s Patriotic Project

Justin’s Patriotic Project

Justin’s Patriotic Project is a poster contest for grades 2 and 3 and an essay contest for students in grades 4-10. The Project will encourage children to take pride in themselves, their school and the land in which they live. It will encourage children to be aware as they grow older how important service to our country is and how fortunate they are to live in the land of freedom. Their essay should focus on what they can do to serve their country and make a difference in the world, enforcing a sense of purpose and reaching their full potential. That may be discovered by going to college, learning a trade or serving in the military. The essay will help children think about what it means to be a citizen of the United States of America and the responsibility that citizenship carries with it. It will help them to become a good student, neighbor and friend. It will also help students and their parent(s) to start thinking about going to college, trade school or military service at an early age.
